Ils sont trois oursons, nés sous des cieux différents. Kallik vit sur la banquise, qui fond chaque jour davantage. Toklo grandit dans une forêt abîmée par les hommes. Lusa, enfermée dans un zoo, rêve d'explorer le monde sauvage. Ils n'auraient jamais dû se rencontrer, et pourtant... Leur quête pour un monde meilleur ne fait que commencer !

Mon opinion

Ce bouquin a été une vraie suprise pour moi. En effet, je n'attendais pas grand chose de cette histoire d'ourson. Mais l'auteur arrive à apporter tellement de douceur au milieu de tous les problèmes que ces oursons rencontrent que je suis maintenant très attachée à ce livre. 

Au long de ces histoires très différentes les unes des autres, je me suis très attachée à ces ours. Ils sont tous les trois très différents mais ça les rend peut-être encore plus attachants. Surtout que leurs histoires elles-mêmes sont vraiment très mignonnes, attachantes et belles. J'ai particulièrement aimé la troisième histoire, celle de Toklo. 

Ces trois histoires sont montrées et vues à travers les yeux des oursons. On a donc le vocabulaire qu'ils inventent pour décrire des éléments qui nous sommes banals (voiture, bâtiment, contenaire,...). J'ai trouvé ceci vraiment très bien pensé et tellement mignon. Cela apporte et montre toute l'innoncence qu'ont les oursons sur le monde mais précisément sur le monde humain qui les entoure et qu'ils doivent subir. 

Ce roman souligne l'influence des Hommes et du réchauffement climatique sur la vie des animaux. Cela met en valeur à quel point les animaux sont innocents et subissent notre présence. Ils sont impuissants face à notre impact, à nos activités. L'Homme est tout puissant à côté d'eux et fait tout ce qui lui apporte un avantage sans penser à l'impact, souvent négatif, que cela peut avoir sur la vie des autres, ici sur les oursons. C'est une critique en douceur de l'impact anthropique sur la vie animale. J'ai beaucoup aimé cet aspect du roman. Mais il est également montré le côté positif des zoos, le fait que les animaux n'ont plus la vie dure qu'ils pouvaient avoir dehors (recherche de nourriture, bataille avec les autres animaux, ...).

Enfin, on découvre différentes sortes de légendes ou croyances auxquelles les ours croient. Ces légendes sont vraiment originales et bien pensées. Elles sont liées au milieu d'habitat de chacun des oursons. Elles nous permettent de nous rapprocher des oursons. J'ai vraiment beaucoup aimé ces croyances aussi.

There are three cubs, born under different skies. Kallik lives on the pack ice, which melts more each day. Toklo grows up in a forest damaged by humans. Lusa, locked in a zoo, dreams of exploring the wild world. They should never have met, and yet... Their quest for a better world is just beginning!

My opinion

This book was a real surprise for me. Indeed, I wasn't expecting much from this teddy bear story. But the author manages to bring so much sweetness amidst all the problems that these cubs encounter that I am now very attached to this book.

Throughout these stories very different from each other, I got very attached to these bears They are all three very different but it makes them perhaps even more endearing. Especially that their stories themselves are really very cute, endearing, and beautiful. I particularly liked the third story, Toklo's one.

These three stories are shown and seen through the eyes of the cubs. So we have the vocabulary they invent to describe elements that are normal to us (cars, buildings, containers,...). I found this really very well thought out and so cute. This brings and shows all the innocence that bears have on the world but precisely on the human world that surrounds them and that they must undergo.

This novel highlights the influence of humans and global warming on the lives of animals. This highlights how innocent animals are and how they undergo our presence. They are helpless facing our impact, our activities. Human is all-powerful beside them and does everything that brings him an advantage without thinking of the impact, often negative, that it can have on the lives of others, here on the cubs. It is a gentle critique of the anthropogenic impact on animal life. I really liked this aspect of the novel. But it is also showed the positive side of zoos, the fact that the animals don't have the hard life they could have outside (foraging, fight with other animals, ...).

Finally, we discover different kinds of legends or beliefs believed by these bears. These legends are really original and well thought out. They are linked to the habitat of each of the cubs. That allows us to get closer to the cubs. I really liked these beliefs as well.
