Seule l'une d'elles peut survivre...
Lorsqu'une sorcière naît, un double de son être est aussi créé. Pour que la sorcière vive et maîtrise ses pouvoirs, sa jumelle doit être sacrifiée.
Telles sont les traditions. Telle est la loi.
Mon avis
Ce livre a été une petite déception. L'histoire me donnait vraiment envie mais en fait, c'était super long pour une fin assez banale en fin de compte. Rien d'original. Il y a peu d'actions, beaucoup de descriptions du monde des sorcières, d'explications concernant leur façon de fonctionner (la hiérarchie et les différentes fonctions qu'une sorcière peut avoir). J'ai d'ailleurs trouvé que cela faisait beaucoup de vocabulaire à acquérir (ou au moins à maîtriser) pour pas grand chose (les Clés, les Primes, les Rayons). Mais cela n'empêche en rien à la compréhension de l'histoire.
De plus, il y a de nombreux personnages (beaucoup parmi les sorcières) dont certains ont plusieurs noms, ce qui peut rendre le suivi de l'histoire un peu compliqué. Mais rien d'exagéré hein, soyons clair ^^. Et les personnages les plus importants pour l'histoire sont très distinctifs des autres, même si ce sont eux qui ont deux noms.
Personnellement, je ne me suis pas spécialement attachée aux personnages. Je pensais m'attacher à la sorcière étant donné son histoire : devoir tuer sa jumelle ne doit pas être évident. Mais en fait, son ressenti est tellement peu exprimé... et celui de la Chasseuse l'est encore moins... Dommage!
Par contre, à côté de tous ces points plutôt négatifs, j'ai beaucoup aimé le fait qu'il y ait une enquête du côté de la Chasseuse. Celle-ci permet de découvrir le monde des Chasseurs et de rejoindre ce monde à celui des sorcières d'une façon assez original.

My opinion
This book was a little disappointment. The story really made me want to read it, but in fact, it was super long for a rather banal end ultimately. Nothing original. There are few actions, many witch world descriptions, explanations of how they work (the hierarchy and the different functions a witch ca have). I also found that it was a lot of vocabulary to acquire (or at least to master) for not much (the Clés - Keys, the Primes - Premium, the Rayons - Rays). But that does not bother for understanding the story.
In addition, there are many characters (many of the witches), some of whom have multiple names, which can complicate the following of the story. But nothing exaggerated huh, let's be clear ^^. And the most important characters for the story are very distinctive from others, even if they do have two names.
Personally, I haven't particularly become attached to the characters. I thought to be attached to the witch given her story:: having to kill her own twin shouldn't be easy. But in fact, her feelings are so little expressed... and that of the Hunter is even less... Too bad!
On the other hand, besides all these rather negative points, I really like the fact that there is an investigation on the side of the Hunter. This enables to discover the Hunters world and to join this world to that of the witchers in a rather original way.
